Obverse description	Red letterpress coupon on plain paper with a simple rectangular border. The central vignette carries the large numeral '2 1/2' flanked on both sides by the denomination legend 'DUA SETENGAH RUPIAH'; the heading 'COUPON PENUKARAN' runs across the top, with a serial number printed twice in the upper portion. Two manuscript signatures appear at the lower left and lower right, attributed to the Residen N.R.I. Djambi and the Komisiat Keuangan respectively.

Reverse description	Plain paper reverse printed in red letterpress with a simple outer border matching the obverse. A block of Indonesian text occupies the upper half, explaining the coupon's limited validity within the Daerah Djambi region and its guaranteed redemption against ORI notes. The date 'DJAMBI 24 OCTOBER 1947.' is set in bold type at the centre-lower portion, and the denomination fraction '2 1/2' appears in each corner.
