正面描述 The central intaglio vignette presents the Bukhara Ark (Buxoro Arki), the ancient fortress-citadel, rendered in brick-red tones over a pale rose guilloche underprint with geometric rosette patterns. The state emblem of Uzbekistan is positioned in the upper right, with a stylized bird motif within a hexagonal frame to the left. The denomination numeral '2000' appears in bold at lower right, flanked by the serial number printed vertically in the left margin and horizontally at lower right.

备注

Uzbekistan's 2,000 so'm note from 2021 belongs to the broader modernization of the som series that followed the dramatic currency liberalization of September 2017, when the government abandoned its fixed exchange rate regime and the som lost roughly half its value against the dollar almost overnight. That devaluation rendered lower denominations functionally useless and pushed the central bank to accelerate its introduction of higher face values.

Cotton substrate is consistent across the contemporary Uzbek series — a practical choice given the country's position as one of the world's major cotton producers, though the paper itself is sourced and processed through specialist security printers rather than domestic mills.
