The central panel is headed 'Zahlbar bei:' in blackletter and lists, in two columns of Gothic script, the names of all Cologne member banks and banking houses of the Vereinigung authorised to accept the note in payment. Symmetrical starburst guilloche vignettes occupy the lateral panels at left and right. |
