| Obverse description | Light green note with a scalloped decorative border enclosing a ruled frame. The heading reads 'Gutschein' in Gothic script at upper left, with the denomination '2000000 M' at upper right and the written amount 'Zwei Millionen Mark' in large blackletter script across the centre. A repetitive green guilloche underprint fills the background, with a faint watermark-style eagle vignette visible at centre. Two circular official seals of the Kreis Herzogtum Lauenburg, each bearing a heraldic eagle, are applied at lower left and right flanking the issuing text, date 'Ratzeburg, den 15. August 1923', and three manuscript signatures above a serial number and series letter. |
