| Obverse description | Green-toned notgeld note printed in dark green on pale paper, with a fine guilloche underprint of interlocking foliate and cloud-like forms filling the entire field. The upper and lower borders carry the inscription ARBEITGEBER-VEREINIGUNG-DÜSSELDORF in capital letters within a ruled frame. A multi-line text in Fraktur script at the top states the issuing body's liability clause, above the large central denomination legend Zwei Millionen Mark in bold blackletter type. Below, the issue date Düsseldorf, den 13. August 1923 and validity expiry date of 15 September 1923 are given, with the series designation SERIE: Fd at lower left and a manuscript signature of the Geschäftsführer at lower right. |

The upper and lower borders repeat the legend ARBEITGEBER-VEREINIGUNG-DÜSSELDORF within a ruled frame. A large numeral 2000000 in bold open figures occupies the upper portion of the field, below which the denomination Zwei Millionen Mark appears again in blackletter script. A three-line declaration in Fraktur at the foot states that the note is accepted at face value by all public offices and banks within the Stadtkreis Düsseldorf. |
