| Obverse description | Cream paper Notgeld with a grey-green guilloche border framing the entire face; the issuer cartouche 'Bezirkssparkasse Traunstein' is set in a ruled box at upper left with the serial number at upper right. The denomination 'Zwei Millionen Mark.' is printed in large bold red Fraktur type at centre, preceded above by 'Gutschein' in Gothic letterpress script. Three lines of small black letterpress text carry the liability clause and issue date of 10 August 1923, below which three manuscript signatures appear alongside a circular violet official stamp of the Bezirkssparkasse Traunstein. |
