A shield-shaped vignette to the centre-lower area carries a standing armoured figure with sword and shield, encircled by the legend "STADT WALDSHUT GEMEINDE", flanked left by the validity and anti-counterfeiting clause and right by the issue date "Waldshut, den 23.
