| 表面の説明 | The obverse is divided into three vertical panels by a guilloche border printed in dark ink. The left panel carries a vertical text strip reading the note's area of validity. The central panel bears the denomination title 'Zwei Milliarden Mark' in bold blackletter script at the top, below which a large circular vignette reproduces the historic seal of the City of Worms dated 1303, printed in red-brown, with the caption 'Siegel der Stadt Worms i. J. 1303'. Below the vignette appear the issuer designation 'Gutschein der Stadt Worms', the place and date 'Worms, 15. Okt. 1923', the signature line 'Der Oberbürgermeister:', a handwritten signature, serial number, and series designation 'Serie A'. The right panel contains the numeral denomination '2 Milliarden Mark' in blackletter and a redemption guarantee text with the embossed city arms watermark seal at lower right. |
