正面描述 Letterpress-printed coupon within an ornate rectangular border, centrally inscribed with rationing text. The yoke and arrows, Falangist emblem of Francoist Spain, appears alongside a Spanish flag motif. Layout is plain and utilitarian, consistent with wartime municipal ration issue.

背面描述 Hand-drawn naive vignette in pencil and watercolour wash, enclosed within a double-ruled rectangular frame with radiating dash border in pink and purple. The central field contains schematic geometric motifs — stepped labyrinthine forms in orange and grey — flanking a rudimentary human figure, with a star-like device to the upper right.

备注

Ampudia is a small Castilian municipality in Palencia province, and this 1942 salt voucher reflects a rationing infrastructure that the Franco regime imposed across Spain following the Civil War. The Ayuntamiento — the local council — issued scrip denominated in physical commodities rather than pesetas because centrally allocated goods were distributed by quota, not price. Salt was among the most tightly controlled staples.

Local-issue Spanish ration vouchers from this period were printed in enormous variety by municipal governments working with whatever printer was available, which accounts for the wide inconsistency in paper quality and typography across the series. Most were never catalogued systematically.
