The flan is irregular in outline, consistent with Celtic hand-struck coinage. The raised central dome is smooth and highly polished, contrasting sharply with the roughly worked surrounding field. No inscription or legend is present, reflecting the aniconic Celtic tradition. |

The flan edge is uneven and lobate, typical of small-denomination Celtic gold coinage struck by the Boii. No legend or inscription is present. |
