The design is rendered in a characteristically Celtic abstract style, with the facial features and helmet crest reduced to bold, irregular relief elements. The flan is small and irregular, typical of this fractional denomination, with the surfaces showing the debased gold alloy's characteristic warm golden tone with copper-patinated areas. The overall execution reflects the progressive stylistic debasement common to late Boian coinage. |
