| Obverse description | Laureate head of Apollo facing right, rendered in the Hellenistic style with flowing hair gathered beneath the wreath. The portrait exhibits fine die-work typical of Byzantion civic bronze coinage of the mid-third century BC. The facial features, though worn, retain traces of careful engraving. No legend appears on the obverse. The flan is slightly irregular and the surfaces show an attractive green patina. |
