Obverse description Full-length effigy of King Christian II facing forward, depicted in full armor beneath a long royal mantle, holding a scepter in his right hand and the globus cruciger in his left. The figure is rendered in a bold, somewhat schematic late-medieval style characteristic of hammered klippe coinage. The field is plain, with no surrounding legend. The irregular square flan bears file marks along the edges consistent with the klippe production method.
Obverse script Latin

Reverse description A crowned heraldic shield bearing three passant lions arranged in pale, representing the arms of Denmark. The crown surmounting the shield is rendered in a stylized Gothic manner typical of early sixteenth-century Danish coinage. The shield occupies the majority of the irregular square flan, with no encircling legend. The flat, unadorned field and bold relief of the charge reflect the hammered klippe technique employed during Christian II's reign.
