Obverse description Armored and crowned bust of Frederick II facing right, wearing elaborately engraved plate armor with a regal crown atop the head. The king holds an upright sword over his right shoulder, its blade extending toward the upper left of the field. The effigy is rendered in high relief with fine detailing on the crown, gorget, and pauldrons. The peripheral legend reads FRIDERICVS BORVSSORVM REX, encircling the portrait within a linear border.

Reverse description Crowned Prussian eagle displayed in the center of the field, with a script FR royal monogram on the breast. The eagle's tail feathers divide the denomination numeral 1 and 8, indicating the face value of 18 Gröscher. The mint mark E appears without a shield in the legend. The peripheral legend MONETA ARGENT REG PRVSS, together with the date 1754 and mintmark E, encircles the design within a linear border.
