| Obverse description | Armored bust of Frederick II (Frederick the Great) facing right, depicted in elaborate cuirass with decorative shoulder drapery and lace cravat, his hair dressed in loose curls with a queue. The effigy is rendered in a robust baroque style typical of mid-18th century Prussian coinage. The circumscribed Latin legend reads FRIDERICVS BORVSSORVM REX, distributed around the periphery of the coin within a beaded border. |
