Obverse description Armored bust of Frederick II (Frederick the Great) facing right, depicted in elaborate cuirass with decorative shoulder drapery and lace cravat, his hair dressed in loose curls with a queue. The effigy is rendered in a robust baroque style typical of mid-18th century Prussian coinage. The circumscribed Latin legend reads FRIDERICVS BORVSSORVM REX, distributed around the periphery of the coin within a beaded border.

Reverse description Crowned Prussian double-headed eagle displayed at center, with wings spread and each head facing outward, bearing a scepter and orb in its talons. A crowned oval shield on the eagle's breast displays the Hohenzollern arms. The denomination numeral 18 appears below the eagle's tail, while the surrounding Latin legend MONETA ARGENT REG PRVSS, the date 1753, and the Königsberg mint letter E are distributed around the periphery within a beaded border.
