| 备注 |
New York State issued its own currency during the Revolutionary period, and this 2003 note commemorates that history by reprinting or closely referencing the 1788 dollar denominations authorized under state authority before federal currency consolidation rendered them obsolete. The Albany printing location is fitting — New York's colonial and early republican-era emissions were administered through state channels centered in the Hudson Valley corridor.
Whether this is a souvenir replica or part of a formally authorized commemorative series affects its collectible standing considerably. Provenance documentation matters here.
