| Descrizione del dritto | Right-facing draped bust of Empress Maria Theresa occupying the central field, rendered in high relief with elaborately curled and powdered wig dressed in the baroque court fashion. The effigy displays a low-cut bodice with lace detailing, characteristic of mid-18th century Habsburg portraiture. A circular Latin legend surrounds the bust, abbreviated as M . THER . D : G . R . IMP . GE . HU . BO . R . A . A . D . B . C . T., identifying the Empress by her full imperial and royal titles. The portrait is finely engraved in the style of the Kremnica Mint, conveying both regal authority and refined artistic quality. The rim is defined by a raised border enclosing the legend. |

| Descrizione del rovescio | Central device depicts the Virgin Mary as Patrona Hungariae, seated frontally on clouds and enveloped by a radiant glory of straight and wavy rays emanating from her figure. She is shown crowned with a halo, holding the Christ Child on her left arm, both figures nimbed and richly draped. Below the central device, within a cartouche at the bottom of the field, the denomination numeral XVII appears. The mint mark K-B (Kremnica) flanks the base of the central device. The surrounding legend PATRONA . REGNI . HUNGARIAE . followed by the date (e.g. 1762) runs along the upper periphery, enclosed within a raised rim. |
