Obverse description Draped bust of Athena facing right, wearing a Corinthian helmet pushed back on the head, with cheek guards visible. The neck and upper chest show traces of aegis or drapery. The portrait is rendered in a bold, compact style typical of South Italian Greek bronze coinage of the third century BC. A dotted border or incuse circle frames the design.
