附加信息	The 16 Gute Groschen denomination was a distinctly Hanoverian accounting unit, rooted in the Lower Saxon monetary tradition rather than the broader Reichsthaler conventions that dominated most German states. George III never set foot in Hannover after 1765, and by 1820 — the year of his death — he had been incapacitated by mental illness for a decade, reigning in name only while his son governed Britain as Prince Regent. Coins bearing his name were still being struck in Hannover right up to his death in January of that year.
