Reverse description Macedonian helmet, shown facing, with cheek-guards and a crest rendered in the Hellenistic style, occupying the central field. The helmet type is consistent with the military iconography associated with the Antigonid dynasty. Flanking or below the helmet appear the abbreviated royal legend in Greek characters. The flan is irregular and the strike somewhat off-center, as is typical of hammered bronze issues of the Macedonian kingdom in this period.
