Reverse description A tall, ornate race torch (torch used in the lampadedromia relay race) set upright on a decorative base and depicted fully lit, with flames visible at the top. The torch is centrally placed in the field and serves as a direct reference to the Isthmian Games held near Corinth. The names of the two duoviri magistrates responsible for the issue are inscribed around the periphery: M NOVIO BASSO M ANT HIPPARC.
