| Obverse description | Bare or laureate head of Augustus facing right, rendered in a provincial style characteristic of Hispanian workshops of the Augustan period. The portrait, though somewhat crude in execution, retains the idealized Imperial effigy convention, with simplified facial features and a smooth neck truncation. The field is flat and largely plain, with no visible legend surrounding the portrait on this emission. |
