| 背面描述 | A large, detailed bunch of grapes suspended from a short vine stem, depicted facing with individual berries rendered in relief. The bunch dominates the field, serving as the primary civic symbol of Tenos. The ethnic inscription is divided on either side of the bunch in the lower field, with the letters Tau (Τ) to the left and Eta (Η) to the right, serving as an abbreviated ethnic for ΤΗΝΙΩΝ. |

Tenos, the small Cycladic island best known in antiquity for its sanctuary of Poseidon and Amphitrite, produced a modest and intermittent bronze coinage across the Hellenistic period. The sanctuary drew pan-Hellenic pilgrims and hosted an annual festival, giving the island an outsized religious profile relative to its political weight — which may explain why its civic coinage persisted at all.
SNG Copenhagen 770 remains the standard reference point for attribution, with few die studies having been conducted on Tenian bronzes specifically.
