Obverse description Draped bust of Artemis facing right, her hair arranged in a bun, with traces of a quiver visible over her shoulder. The portrait is rendered in the Hellenistic style characteristic of Aeolian civic coinage of the late third to early second century BC. The flan is irregular and the surfaces show a green patina with areas of encrustation consistent with prolonged burial.
