Aanvullende informatie

Issued to commemorate King Bhumibol Adulyadej's receipt of the WIPO Creative Leadership Award, presented by the World Intellectual Property Organization in recognition of his extensive work as an inventor and musician — he held patents and held copyright on jazz compositions across a remarkably long reign. The award itself was conferred in 2006, making the two-year lag to this coin's production characteristic of Thai commemorative scheduling.

Mintage for this type was tightly restricted, as is standard for Thai gold commemoratives in the Y#489 range.
