Obverse description High-relief truncated bust of Kaiser Wilhelm II in military uniform facing left, wearing epaulettes and a star decoration at the chest. The legend appears in a rectangular panel below the effigy, flanked by rosette ornaments. The engraver's signature R. OTTO is visible in the lower right of the field.

Reverse description A standing allegorical female figure in classical robes, veiled, posed frontally atop a globe emerging from clouds, holding a palm branch in her left hand and a scroll in her right hand. The legend curves along the upper arch of the frame, with BERLIN / 1908 and REICHS- / TAG inscribed in the field to either side of the figure. The engraver's initials appear in the lower right.
