| Beschrijving keerzijde | The reverse presents a finely engraved icon-style composition depicting the busts of two monastic saints — Saint Simeon (Stefan Nemanja) and Saint Sava of Serbia — rendered in the Byzantine iconographic tradition with elongated features, long beards, and monastic vestments. The two figures face slightly toward each other, with symbolic Cyrillic inscriptions identifying each saint positioned to the left and right of the respective figures. Floral acanthus-leaf motifs decorate the lower portion of the inner field, and a triangular nimbus element appears at the top center above the paired figures. The field is satin-finished against a plain raised rim, with no peripheral legend. |
