| Additional information |
Cameroon has issued coins through the Monnaie de Paris and various private minting houses under licensing arrangements that have little to do with domestic monetary policy — this piece almost certainly never circulated in Douala or Yaoundé. The 1500-franc denomination exists purely for the collector market, a face value with no practical relationship to Cameroonian commerce.
The Empire State Building was completed in 1931 after just 410 days of construction, a pace driven largely by the need to employ workers during the Depression.
