The Santísima Trinidad was the largest warship afloat when launched in Havana in 1769, eventually rebuilt to carry 140 guns — more than any vessel of her era. She was captured at Trafalgar in 1805 and sank under tow before a prize crew could bring her into Gibraltar.
Ivory Coast's gold miniature series, issued through the Monnaie de Paris under licensed arrangements, targets the collector novelty market rather than circulation. At 0.5 g, the gold content is nominal — the premium is entirely in the subject.
