| Reverse description | The reverse presents a central circular windowed capsule enclosing the same collection of loose faceted Egyptian tourmaline crystals visible through both faces of the coin. Surrounding the capsule, the field is decorated with stylised ancient Egyptian motifs in low relief, including a prominent Eye of Horus rendered in the lower portion and flanking falcon or deity figures with outstretched wings on either side. The legend EGYPT arcs along the upper border with small eye ornaments on either side, and TOURMALINE is inscribed immediately below in bold incuse lettering. The overall design evokes Egyptian antiquity and the gemological heritage of the region. |
