| 背面描述 | The reverse features a dramatic depiction of the Great Pyramids of Giza rendered in high relief with selective gold gilding applied to the pyramid faces, creating a vivid contrast against the frosted silver field. A figure of the Egyptian god Anubis or a pharaonic deity is shown in profile in the upper right portion of the design. The legend MERVEILLES DU MONDE DE L'ANTIQUITE arcs around the upper border, while PYRAMIDES DE L'EGYPTE is inscribed along the lower border, with the date 2010 appearing in the field. Decorative star elements punctuate the border inscriptions, and a stylized blue-tinted base or plinth beneath the pyramids further enhances the colorful, multi-layered composition. |

Ivory Coast has no meaningful historical or cultural connection to ancient Egypt. These large-format silver issues — produced for the collectibles market rather than circulation — were licensed through the Banque Centrale des États de l'Afrique de l'Ouest and struck by European mints targeting novelty buyers. The BCEAO arrangement allowed several West African member states to lend their nominal issuing authority to commemorative programs with no domestic relevance whatsoever.
KM#97a distinguishes the partly gilded variant from the standard strike.
