Reverse description A boldly rendered tiger, depicted in a powerful crouching-and-lunging pose atop a rocky outcrop adorned with stylized foliage, occupies the central field against a deeply mirrored proof background. The animal is shown with its mouth open in a roar, its tail curving upward to the right, rendered with meticulous attention to musculature and striped fur texture in the traditional Chinese artistic style. To the upper left of the field, the denomination 150元 is inscribed, while to the right, the two-character cyclical year designation 丙寅 (Bingyin, the Year of the Tiger) appears vertically, accompanied below by a small oval cartouche bearing the mint mark of the Shenyang Mint. The design is enclosed by a uniformly reeded border.
