Obverse description The Lion Capital of Ashoka, the national emblem of India, depicted centrally in high relief, showing three lions sejant addorsed atop an abacus bearing the Dharma Chakra wheel. The motto 'सत्यमेव जयते' (Satyameva Jayate) appears in Devanagari script in the lower field. The denomination '150' in large numerals occupies the lower portion of the field, flanked by the bilingual legend 'भारत' and '150 रुपये' in Devanagari on the left and 'INDIA' and '150 RUPEES' in Latin script on the right, arranged along the coin's periphery.
