| Reverse description | A finely engraved full-length portrait of a brown hyena (Parahyaena brunnea) stands facing left at centre, rendered in naturalistic detail with its characteristic shaggy mane and sloping hindquarters clearly delineated. The animal is depicted standing on rocky ground, with a bare, thorny shrub in the right field providing a sense of its arid savannah habitat. The denomination 150 PULA appears in bold numerals and lettering in the upper left field. The reverse was engraved by Paul Vincze, whose characteristic naturalistic style is evident in the treatment of the animal's fur and musculature. |
