Reverse description A finely detailed, high-relief rendering of a Waratah (Telopea speciosissima), the floral emblem of New South Wales, occupies the central field, depicting the characteristic globular flower head atop a single upright stem flanked by two broad serrated leaves. The engraver's monogram HH appears incuse on the stem below the flower head. The denomination 150 DOLLARS is inscribed in bold lettering along the lower portion of the field, with the coin's scalloped inner border framing the entire composition.
