背面描述 Within a raised inner circle, two Asian elephants — one adult and one juvenile — are depicted standing in a forested landscape with stylized rocky outcroppings in the background. The acronym 'FAO' appears in Latin script at the upper interior of the circle. The Thai Buddhist Era date 'พ.ศ.๒๕๒๐' is inscribed below the elephants within the circle. Surrounding the inner circle, a Thai-script legend curves along the upper and lateral borders reading a royal proverb about forests, while the denomination '๑๕๐ บาท' (150 Baht) is prominently displayed in large Thai numerals along the lower border outside the circle.

附加信息

Issued as part of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization's global coin program, which recruited member nations throughout the 1970s to mint pieces promoting agricultural development and food security initiatives. Thailand's participation reflected Rama IX's genuine personal investment in rural development — his network of royally-initiated agricultural projects, begun in the 1960s, predated and in many ways anticipated the FAO's own regional priorities.

The .925 silver specification placed this issue well above the base-metal FAO coins struck by most participating nations, a deliberate signal of institutional seriousness from Bangkok.
