| Obverse description | Central depiction of the Temple of Heaven (Tiantan) in Beijing, rendered in high relief against a mirror-polished field, with the iconic circular Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests prominently displayed. The Chinese legend 中华人民共和国 (People's Republic of China) arcs along the upper border, while the commemorative inscription 中国熊猫金币发行25周年纪念 (25th Anniversary of Chinese Panda Gold Coin Issuance) runs along the lower border. The date 2007 appears in the exergue beneath the temple. |

| Additional information |
The Chinese Panda series launched in 1982, and by the time this 25th-anniversary piece was struck, the program had become one of the few modern bullion series to change its reverse design annually — a deliberate policy that transformed what might have been a generic bullion product into an actively collected annual series. The 15 Yuan denomination itself is an oddity, existing almost exclusively within these commemorative anniversary issues rather than the standard Panda weight schedule.
