| 裏面の説明 | The reverse features a dramatic high-relief group portrait of ten male busts facing left in overlapping profile, representing players and figures associated with Football Club Internazionale Milano (F.C. Inter), rendered in a sculptural, medallic style against a deeply recessed mirror proof field. A small circular cartouche at the lower centre displays the intertwined monogram of F.C. Inter, with the engraver's initials 'SDG' to its right. Along the left arc, the bold Latin legend 'CHAMPIONS OF SPORT' is inscribed, with 'F.C. INTER' appearing vertically alongside the portrait group. A beaded border encircles the entire design. |

Ras al-Khaimah's early 1970s silver issues were frankly collector bait — the emirate had joined no federation yet and was monetizing its independence through contracts with European coin dealers before UAE unification in 1971 rendered most of them obsolete almost immediately. This piece honors Internazionale Milan's 1965 Intercontinental Cup victory, part of a broader Saqr F.C. series that bundled football tributes with a Gulf state's brief window of sovereign minting.
The series was distributed primarily through Huguenin Médailleurs in Switzerland, never meaningfully circulating within Ras al-Khaimah itself.
