| Obverse description | Central shield bearing the arms of the Rohan family (lozengy), surmounted by a mural crown and flanked by two ostrich feathers or wings as supporters, all rendered in low relief. The coat of arms is displayed within a plain escutcheon. A circular legend surrounds the design, reading F.EMMANUEL DE ROHAN . M., identifying the Grand Master of the Order of Malta. The coin's border is decorated with a beaded rim. The overall style is characteristic of late 18th-century Maltese milled coinage. |
