Obverse description Black intaglio print on white paper. At left, a classical female bust vignette in profile facing right, rendered in fine engraved style. The upper portion carries the title CÉDULA HIPOTECARIA and the issuer name CRÉDITO CAUCANO in bold serif lettering, with the denomination numeral 15 repeated at each corner. A central text block in letterpress details the mortgage contract terms, below which the denomination QUINCE PESOS / ORO LEGAL appears within a decorative panel. The lower margin bears the imprint of the American Bank Note Company, with signature lines for El Presidente de la Junta Directiva, El Gerente, and El Secretario, alongside the Serie and serial number fields.

Reverse description Printed in brown on white paper, the reverse carries an ornate guilloche border frame enclosing a central text block headed CONDICIONES, which sets out in three numbered articles the terms governing capital and interest guarantees, amortization by annual draw, and interest payment dates. At left, a circular vignette shows a rural landscape with thatched buildings, surrounded by the inscriptions CRÉDITO CAUCANO and SOCIEDAD ANÓNIMA BANCARIA, with CIUDAD DE POPAYÁN on a tablet below.
