The legend 'TINGSHUSET' arcs prominently along the upper rim, while the date '1982' appears in large raised numerals in the lower field. A continuous inscription encircles the lower and lateral periphery, stating the issuer and redemption conditions: redeemable at Svenska Handelsbanken in Kopparberg until 30 December 1982. |

Ljusnarsbergs AIF is a small sports club from Kopparberg in Örebro County, and like dozens of Swedish clubs in the late 1970s and early 1980s, it issued local bronze specie as a fundraising mechanism — not currency in any legal sense, but tokens with a nominal face value used within club events and local commerce sympathetic to the cause. The 1982 date places this squarely in the peak of that Swedish numismatic fundraising trend, which faded sharply after mid-decade as tax regulations tightened around non-monetary token schemes.
