Sigismund Franz ruled Tyrol for barely three years before dying in 1665 without an heir, extinguishing the Tyrolean branch of the Habsburgs and returning the county directly to the main Austrian line. His coinage output was consequently limited, and the 15 Kreuzer denomination from Hall mint represents one of the few surviving denominations struck across his entire reign.
