| Beschrijving keerzijde | Crowned imperial double-headed eagle displayed in the central field, its breast bearing the elaborately quartered Habsburg arms on an ornate escutcheon. The mint mark CA (for Vienna) appears in an oval cartouche at the base of the shield. The date 1664 is divided across the upper field, split by the crown above the eagle's heads. The encircling Latin legend reads ARCHI D AVS DVX B CO TVR, referencing Leopold's archdducal and ducal titles. The overall design follows the standard Habsburg imperial type of the period. |

| Aanvullende informatie |
Leopold I began issuing 15 Kreuzer pieces in 1660 partly to address a chronic shortage of mid-denomination silver in the hereditary lands, but the coinage almost immediately became entangled in the Kipper und Wipper debasement aftershocks still reverberating from earlier in the century. Vienna's output across this sixteen-year span was substantial, and the multiple Herinek references reflect genuine die variety groupings rather than simple cataloging redundancy — collectors working this series quickly discover that obverse bust progressions and reverse shield configurations changed frequently enough to reward close die attribution.
