Obverse description Laureate and draped bust of Emperor Leopold I of Habsburg facing right, depicted in baroque portrait style. Below the truncation, the denomination XV appears in Roman numerals within a decorative cartouche or frame. The circumferential legend, rendered in Latin, encircles the effigy and identifies the sovereign by name and titles. The overall composition reflects the imperial iconographic conventions of the mid-17th century Habsburg mints.
