A large comital crown surmounts the shield. The circumferential Latin legend reads MONETA:NOVA:IOA:COM:IN:MONTFORT, identifying the issuer as Johann (John VIII), Count of Montfort, and attributing the coin as new coinage of the county. The design is executed in the robust relief typical of late seventeenth-century hammered silver coinage of the Holy Roman Empire. |

| Descripción del reverso | Central field depicts a displayed imperial double-headed eagle with wings spread, each head facing outward, surmounted by a single imperial crown above the junction of the necks — a standard heraldic device referencing the authority of the Holy Roman Emperor Leopold I. At the base of the eagle, within a cartouche or small shield, the Roman numeral XV denotes the denomination of 15 Kreuzer. The date 1674 is incorporated into the circumferential Latin legend, which reads LEOPOLDVS·I·ROM:IMP:S:AVG, identifying Leopold I as Roman Emperor and Augustus.
