Obverse description Central design features a large diamond-shaped lozenge containing the quartered arms of the Archbishopric of Salzburg, divided by a bold cross. The upper-left and lower-right quarters display the Salzburg lion rampant, while the remaining quarters bear the ecclesiastical insignia. The date 1694 is placed at the four cardinal points of the lozenge, with the digits '1' and '6' at the top and '9' and '4' at the bottom. The coin exhibits a milled edge and a well-defined border.
