附加信息

Nassau-Dillenburg was a small Reformed Protestant principality navigating precarious loyalty politics during the Nine Years' War period, when Louis XIV's pressure on the Rhine frontier made even minor German princes scramble to assert fiscal independence. The 15 Kreuzer denomination was a workhorse of late 17th-century South German and Rhenish commerce, frequently debased by competing mints until imperial circles attempted to enforce the 1667 Zinna Convention standards — compliance was uneven at best.

Henry of Nassau-Dillenburg ruled a territory more significant for its dynastic connections to the House of Orange than for its minting output, and the short production window of this type reflects a reign interrupted by the political turbulence of 1689.
