| Obverse description | Draped bust of Frederick II (Frederick the Great) facing right, depicted in elaborate armour with ornate lace cravat and flowing curled wig in the Baroque style. The denomination numeral XV appears within a cartouche on the king's breastplate. The circumferential legend reads FRIDERICUS • D • G • REX • BORUSS • XV, interrupted by the portrait, with the reeded border forming a distinctive milled rim. The portrait is rendered in high relief with fine engraving detail characteristic of Silesian mint work of the period. |

| Reverse description | Central device consisting of the Prussian eagle displayed within an ornate Baroque cartouche surmounted by a royal crown, the eagle bearing the crowned royal cypher FR (Fridericus Rex) on its breast shield. The cartouche is flanked by elaborate acanthus scroll and foliate ornamentation. The circumferential legend, divided around the central device, records the king's full abbreviated titulature and the date 1743, with the mintmark W (Wrocław/Breslau) appearing in the legend. The overall design is characteristic of the refined Silesian engraving tradition of the mid-eighteenth century. |
