Obverse description Draped bust of Bishop Charles II of Liechtenstein-Kastelkorn facing right, wearing armored and lace-trimmed collar, with flowing hair to the shoulders. The portrait is rendered in a Baroque style typical of mid-17th century Central European ecclesiastical coinage. A circular Latin legend surrounds the effigy, reading CAROLVS D:G:EP:OLOMVCENSIS DVX S.R.I.P., identifying the bishop as Duke and Prince of the Holy Roman Empire.
