Obverse description Draped bust of Elector Charles Albert facing right, with long flowing wig in the baroque style. The effigy is rendered in high relief with fine detail to the hair and drapery. The peripheral legend is divided around the bust reading CAR. ALB. H. I. B. C. &., abbreviating his full electoral titles. The coin edge features a reeded border visible at the rim.

Reverse description A large rampant lion to left, the heraldic beast of Bavaria, holding an upright sword in its forepaw and a crowned oval escutcheon bearing the quartered arms of Bavaria and the Palatinate with a central inescutcheon of the imperial orb. Two chains of chivalric orders encircle the shield. The denomination numeral '15' appears in a cartouche at the bottom of the field, flanked by the divided date 17 and 32. The legend LAND MINZ. &. runs along the periphery.
